Harrow Leisure Centre Case Study

Client : Margaret Rutkowska
Consultants : Ingleton Wood
What we did
A tricky task to remove 4 number existing 100mm heating circulation pumps and replacing with new dual sets including their isolation valves, electrical supplies and BMS connections.
The centre operated 7 days a week and our only window was from 11.00 pm - 6.00 am. A major task was to insert new isolation valves onto a 200mm common mains so we could work away from the mains onto individual pump sets.
Working with our appointed freezer partner we had to monitor the rate of temperature decrease in these mains from 11.00 pm so they could calculate the freeze and actual operating time for us to weld the flanges and install the valves before returning the system back to operation before the 6.00 am start up.
Although complicated the work went as 'sweet as a nut' without any disruption to the centre which is one of the largest in Europe.
Testimonial
"We have worked with Mid Essex Heating (London) Ltd on a range of projects which they have secured by competitive tender.
On each occasion we have found them to professionally and diligently undertake the required works some of which have been complex projects."
